ADVANCESOLUTIONS is co-owned by Sue Jacobsmeyer and Donna Stauffer, two hard-working women with much in common – including extensive work experiences and an idea to use their education and experience in corporate business to start a business that would provide a much needed service to the Greater St. Louis Area and allow them to be closer to home and family. They had a vision and a plan to grow the business, creating jobs and opportunity to spend more time with family.

The Team

ADVANCESOLUTIONS has long since grown out of the basement office where it started and now employs 12 permanent team members and hires seasonal employees when needed.

Together, the team provides a full array of customer services including marketing and design, printing and copying, and mail services like inkjet addressing, inserting, folding, labeling, tabbing, sealing and mail merge.

We are proudly WBE (Women-owned Business Enterprise) certified and our top priority is to provide each customer with individualized service.

Sue Jacobsmeyer

Sue worked for 20 years for a top St. Louis based insurance company where she witnessed the evolution of company technology from the black screen, green text days and 10Megabyte hard drives as big as a kitchen toaster, to the high-speed micro-electronic devices of today. She moved around in the company learning and assuming new roles every few years until becoming a technology trainer and then promoted to Technology Training Manager. Sue’s goal was to never be in the same position for more than a few years. This diverse experience in the corporate environment would set the foundation for a successful entrepreneurship.

Sue and her husband of 25 years, now retired, have 5 grown children, most of living in the St. Louis area, and a number of grandchildren. They love to travel and spend time with their family, and in her mind “there is nothing better than being a grandma”.

Donna Stauffer

Donna worked 17 years for a subsidiary of one of the nation’s largest telecommunications organizations. She held a number of management positions during her tenure and earned her Master Degree in Finance and Marketing. When the organization announced it was relocating away from Missouri, Donna decided it was time to make a career change. After careful and deliberate research she came upon the opportunity to start a home-based business in Direct Mail. Her business and management experience and her understanding of marketing and entrepreneurship opened the doors to a successful future in this new venture.

Donna and her husband of 35 years have 2 sons, one finishing his computer engineering degree in Southwest Missouri and one recently married, living in St. Charles. They stay busy with and entertained by their 2 yellow Labrador Retrievers.
